a modernist i guesss sees a broken-down, begging for replacement or reconstruction or demolition sidewalk that someone may trip on as he s/he can not get out of the way fast enough driving to fast to avoid running over, splattermess.
i see a sensual curve lasting and vital in common use construction: a woman's body that i adore, that we twine together ageless.
