I know there's all manner of other things I should be doing... mainly requests, but I started sketching out Monique in my logic class and really liked how she turned out (despite the anatomical errors on the right arm and the fact that her head's somewhat off axis), so I added some colouring to it between working on projects (dodge and burn are my friends).There really should be more Monique fanart out there... she's a cool character.

Yeah it was an accident... probably doesn' help that, since I own that exact shirt, I used myself as a model and I'm considerably... er, smaller than her... I tried to "build her up" as it were, but I guess it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I'm glad you still like it, though. ^_^

Y'know, when Monique was first introduced onto the show, I didn't like her. But as the series went on and she persisted, I was won over.

Yeah, I've noticed a good bit of the fandom didn't like her and I couldn't understand why... but then, I came into the KP fandom after the show had ended and Monique was more or less established as knowing confidante of Kim.

Well, I hope I didn't say the wrong thing... there's much more realism in your KP drawings than one normally finds in KP fanart, which from my perspective, makes them appear a little older.

Oh no, you didn't say the wrong thing at all! I was just kind of making an observation aloud (er, in type) about how I tend to make the people I draw the same age as me. You're not the only one who's pointed out that they look older so I've been trying to work on that.
It took me forever to amp down my version of Ron to look more like the age he appears in the show.
