This is Yuriko Kurogawa, one of 4 PCs in our current rpg campaign. She is a human ninja who originally traveled with Praetorius as a bodyguard, and was the driving force behind the long Teikoku arc that took place in her homeland, Teikoku.
When she was 12 years old, her clan (the Ichimonji) were wiped out under strange circumstances in a cataclysm of water. She alone survived among those present in the village. Nearly dead, she was found by an old ninja returning from a mission. She traveled with him continuing her training for many years until his death. Before dying, he secretly imparted to her an epic spell in the form of a tattoo that he once possessed. She had no idea what it was, but he told her that one day she may have to perform her duty as an Ichimonji, and at that time she will need the help of a true summoner. With this vague information she eventually encountered Praetorius, one of the rare true summoner class. She offered to travel with him as a bodyguard in exchange for his help in the future, should she require it. Intrigued, Praetorius agreed. One year later they met up with the other PCs, and the campaign began.
She is the main melee attacker, and her weapons are a pair of exotic blades and large shuriken. She is reliable and hard to surprise, but is afraid of deep water. Skilled in dancing, singing, and playing the shamisen and oud (skills gained during kunoichi training), she is also a frontline member of the party musical enembles. She likes dried squid and squirrels.
