Hatomi's words:

Hatomi very kind and not angry girl. She does not condemn Gold D Roger all, because she think that she can't judge someone she doesn't even know.
Hatomi holds a neutral position. She didn't think of king of the pirates is criminal person, but she can't say that he great person too.
"I have no right to talk about bad person or to praise even never talking to him"
However, Hatomi never tried Ace for his father.
Hatomi Ace asks the question:
" What do you think, if the King of the pirates has a son?"
What Hitomi meets words from sreen:
"I think that to be a child of the pirate king isn't so bad...Anyway... Gold D Roger's son desrves a life no less of each and it doesn't matter who his father is"
Later she explains to Ace their position. She believes that whoever the parent was , it does not mean that his child will be the same.
After these words, Ace says Hatomi that he is the son of the king of the pirates and sees that Hatomi in shock.
Ace is about to leave, thinking that thus she will hate it, but Hatomi stops Ace, apologizing for her behavior.
"I don't know him ,Ace, and I can not say he is a criminal or a great man. But I know one thing. You're not him...and who would not say that, I don't care! I know you, as commander of the second division , is ready to battle rush for his friends, cheerful and sincere with their feelings... and that's all I need to know"
From this moment begins the development of Ace and Hatomi's relations

-Their first meeting was in Alabasta. Hatomi very good at dancing. She's got talent. Sometime Cafe owner arranged evening concerts, on which Hatomi danced , what brought the income of the cafe. Not difficult to guess that to escape from there Hatomi helps Ace.
-It all starts with the fact that the Whitebeard pirates help Maya( sister Hatomi), which asks to help to find her sister-Hatomi.
-So Ace went to Alabasta( I think he could easily travel on his boat) and helps Hatomi to escape.He leads her to the ship to see her sister.
-After Hatomi and Maya met , Hatomi with Maya want to go ashore, but it is always something interferes.At some point, Maya joins the team, and Hatomi remains on the ship with her sister and gratitude to Ace for her salvation.
- Their relationship developed from that moment. Hatomi never been interested in pirates , but she likes the stories of ACE about how he was a captain, about his childhood . She realized that she loves him and want be around him, but not seeing a response of sympathy from his side, trying to keep at the level of friend for Ace.
-Hatomi kind and gentle girl but very curious. But she's also very shy so it was difficult to start to communicate openly with Ace. There has been a motivator the ACE, which sometimes asked her to walk around the ship and talk to. Through time Hitomi began to communicate with him like she has known him all her life.
- At some point, they become good friends, because freely and openly can communicate with each other, but in one day she finds out about who is Gold D Roger for Ace and begins to question him about it.
-Ace didn't like it and he rudely asks to leave this subject, to tell that he survived a nasty rumor Roger. Hatomi to understand that she hurt his feelingsShe honestly said that would never say shit toward Roger, even if he was not the father of Ace, because she can't judge the man she has not saw.She believes it had no right to die because human life belongs to him and no one has the right to choose to live or not, but Hitomi believes that he was not a bad person( it's Hatomi's weird )
- This attitude Hatomi, more revealed her nature and the Ace appears to Hatomi certain sympathy.
- After that Hatomi never touched the subject of parents, but Ace liked what she was saying.Soon Ace discovers that she never knew her father( he died when Hatomi was a year or two years old)Therefore, it is easier to understand each other and they realize how similar situations in there life .(Hatomi a child, too, was alone, until he met Maya.)
- It helps them to approach them more and more.
- They begin spending more time together. Ace often rolls Hatami on the boat( what she so loves). Hatomi help him , if you need something sew. Hatomi not a big eater and basically much of the food, gives to Ace . She's a heavy sleeper, and he loves to sleep in warm places or in the sun. It shows the ACE of his drawings, and he sometimes her his tricks with fire, which Hitomi ecstatic. Sometimes they like to play cards and all this and much more, also contributes to the development of their relationship all this time.
- When their feelings for each other go in love, they will can't reveal my true feelings, that looks pretty funny, because the whole ship knows that they love each other.
- When it finally happens, they almost do not depart from each other and even sleep in the same cabin.
- Ace sees in Hatomi person who always will understand and support. Him conquers her kindness and compassion for others Hatomi feels next to Ace in his place and infinitely glad that such a cheerful and carefree person, how he can love such a weak and simple girl like her.
-In my version of Ace is alive. I create a story Hatomi with my sister and it is her character saves the life of Ace and Edward after the war.We try to make it as real, logical and do not contradict events in the manga.
-We do that Maya helps Ace and Whitebeard on the ship of Shanks. It was there they swim for some time, in search of teams of pirates Whitebeard. On the ship of Shanks Ace did offer Hatami, and by the time she is pregnant. All this time everyone was trying to hide from world government that Ace is alive, because to him, Hatomi and their child again would face execution. They lived on an island in the Grand Line(here was born Allen), and then began to live in his native Ace's village( Athena was born there).
This is the main again, their relationship.
In my spare time I write a little story Hatomi and think through in more detail the relationship between Ace and Hatomi.

I don't even know where to begin, this summary of their relationship really shows that they had ups and downs and how they weren't a perfect couple 100% a time, with Hatomi ignorantly saying things and Ace snapping at her like there were conflicts, but they overcame that and that's pretty fricking cool. I especially love how they met at Alabasta, idk I just like the fact that he came to get info about Blackbeard, but also to look for Hatomi, idk why I like it, maybe I just like that she's a dancer, cause I don't see very many of those tbh
also about keeping Ace alive, normally I'm not for that, but I think if you present in a way where consequences emerge in unexpected ways then cool also it's not my story or interpretation of the manga/show it's all about having fuuun. (who am i to judge anyways Amber literally meets Luffy during his childhood like?? kms) also, can I say that I love how he becomes a dad??? cause I love that so much, just imagining Ace playing his kids is such a fricking cute sight.
I would 100% read that story, also yeah I understood it, so no worries fam (besides my English can be confusing to read sometimes too whoops) and yes please tell me more about them, they're so cute and I just it's one of my favs OC x Canon I think I like it so much cause Ace is a gentleman with a fiery passion, so when he meets a kind hearted girl with a soft voice. I just. it's a cute combination and I adore those pairs.

I never thought about it being Yin and Yang, but that concept is super interesting and pretty freaking cool and makes a ton of sense. They just balance each other out so well, that I'm surprised I didn't make the comparison earlier lmao. It genuinely makes me even more interested in both of them.

Well, if you talk about the Ace Alen and Afina then it looks like this:
Ace loves kids and holds with them all my free time. He takes them with him to stores and when Hatomi was pregnant with their first child, he built a playing area in the form of a small Whitebeard's ship and Hatomi was painted and sewed sails on it. Ace trains Alena 10 years, because he knows that in the future, Allen wants to go to sea. He loves him and wants that Alen can has a real family. Sometimes he takes him into the woods where he talked about his childhood and teaches Alen how to hunt and defend . Ace tries to teach Alena to grew up to be independent, but keep an eye to him.
Allen is very smart. His IQ over 200 and since his childhood he shows it. Allen madly loves mechanics , to build something to fix . So Ace and Alen often make something with Ace's boat .
About Ace and Athena
Ace loves my daughter and always called her "my Princess." Ace restricts Athena from Hiking in the woods, because he doesn't train Athena . Athena mostly sits at home with her mother and helps her, but when Athena accidentally ate a devil fruit ( Athena was 10 years old, and Alain 12) Ace takes to train Athena too , because the kids decide that they will go to sea together. Athena loves to braid Alen Ace and Hatomi's hair and Ace, how Alen and Hatomi quietly allows her to do it.
Before Athena eats fruit she always helps mom cook dinner and clean the house. Though she is small, but growing independent and smart. Ace appreciates it and every time Athena does something ACE with kisses his daughter on the cheek with the words " My little Princess . So young , yet so smart." And ruffled hair. Athena is really like it and she always smiles and laughs when her daddy does something like that.
Children very love father, and Ace very loves his children. The whole family often spends time together.
Furthermore Allen was born on the Grand Line, but Athena in the native village of ACE , Sabo and Luffy where in consequence Ace will live with his family. Children love this place and often run to visit Dadan or in Makino's cafe. Ace walks with children around the island and tells them about their uncle ( that is, Sabo and Luffy) and not hiding who their real grandfather is Roger. Children as not judge the father because their grandfather is King of pirates and Vice versa are only too happy and proud of their grandfather the king of the pirates.

And now, how Hatomi told ACE about her pregnancy.
When Hatomi learned about it, the first time was afraid to tell Ace about this, because she knew that Ace all the showers and live the pirate adventure and the sea.
She thought to go ashore and to raise a child alone, waiting for her husband on the shore, but she had no time to go ashore. One day Hatomi started with the Ace conversation about the children, what Ace said Hatomi that he is a pirate and he will be him always. But if ever he'll have a child, he would come ashore and stay with family because he doesn't want to act like a father.
Then Hatomi asked Ace whether he's happy shore?
What Ace said that his family is the biggest happiness. Then Hatomi burst into tears and admitted to the Ace, expecting his child.
Ace was very happy and was looking forward to the birth of his son. He was near Hatomi all time, all brought to her and took care of his pregnant wife, and when Allen was born, then ACE couldn't hold back the tears and in his spare time has always played with Alen.
