Love love, LOVE this series! I discovered it recently, and it has quickly become one of my all-time favorite television shows! I love all of the characters! I've become really attached to them all. I had not developed such a strong love for characters in a live action television show, since Star Trek: TNG, and the X-Files. Not only are they awesome, and have really well-fleshed out personalities, but the actors that play as them just seem to have really good chemistry and gives them life! Which really helps make characters easier to become attached to and relate with in any series.
It's nice to see that there are other people here that love this show! I shall use your stamp!

Bones resp the title character is based on books by Kathy Reichs. The author herself is a forensic anthropologist and still works in that area. There are a lot of differencences between book and series, but the title character shares the same name and occupation. Reichs works as a producer on the show to "keep the science honest"; she also has guest appeared in one episode and written some other episodes.
I watched the first 4,5 seasons and then only sporadically, mainly due to others shows in the same timeslot on other channels. Though I started on catching up again during summer hiatus for most other shows. Depending on programming for some new series (and of course returning series) starting soon, I may get behind again.

Haven't seen the whole series either.....season 1 I've seen completely, part of Season 2 and then several seasons went by, watched from the latests season some episodes, I think it's season 6 or 7. The one were she's married to Booth and they have a child.
