Bowen knew Natalie all too well, unfortunately; he'd realised that telling her to keep away from the sheds would automatically have the opposite result. Her phone shrilled the special ringtone which warned that her boss was calling, so that she could pretend to have no signal. On this occasion, she decided to answer it and bluff her way out of trouble.
"Your tracker seems to have mysteriously stopped transmitting", he told her. "Again. What are you up to?"

"Just looking for some breakfast", Natalie said.

"As long as you aren't looking for it along the waterfront", he said. "I meant what I said."

"No chance of that", she said. "I never eat fish before noon. Ooh, but here's a Cafe Nero. I'll get the tracker fixed as soon as I get in, see you soon, 'bye!"
