Madeline came back from shopping with some gorgeous new lingerie and I insisted on a shot.

"Sometimes, it would be nice if you thought about having fun with me before you thought about taking a picture. I didn't buy this for your creepy fans."

Um…well, anyway. Madeline has this lovely outfit and we wanted to shoot it. Plus, Madeline won't admit it, but she's jealous that the Belovodchenko Ryan shot went so well. So we recycled the lighting rig we stole from belovodchenko .

"Just snap the pic. I'm a girlfriend, not a slinky. This isn't a comfortable pose."

"Wait," I say, "you want me to identify you as my girlfriend, not as the wonder statistician?"

Madeline rolled her eyes at me.

Just so we don't look like raging fanbois with not a single original thought, I asked Photoshop to keep this in color and go for an old school glamour shot look. Not vintage, but a hint of retro, while keeping the high contrast feel to Anton's work.

Daz set up the studio. Iray wrangled the lights—in addition to the Belovodchenko light above, we used an HDRI booster to get some fill from the left and right. Photoshop did all the toning.
