Ryan's cousin came by the studio last yesterday. Since Ryan never talks about her family (for obvious reasons), this was a real surprise. It was a surprise for Ryan, too, since she thought everybody in her family thinks she's an evil slut, doomed to Hell. But her cousin was about to be forced to marry some old guy and get on the baby-making train, so she bought a bus ticket and came to Chicago, looking for the one person she kind of knew.

I certainly wasn't going to suggest she model with us, and definitely not in lingerie, but Ryan decided it would be fun and she's able to talk just about anybody into a bad idea.

"God, they're so adorbs together!"

Indeed. I almost forget that Ryan is a succubus when she's like this.

They were stiff for the first picture, but later in the session, Ryan had them laughing.

Ryan's cousin is my first attempt to convert one of my characters to G8 (Madeline's in the shower and hopefully won't read about new G8s coming into the studio). I used Rare Stone's exhaustive morph set to get something really close to Ryan's head with some of the exaggerated features removed, but the lips were off—and it turns out Ryan's mouth is very distinctive. So I went into Modo and carefully sculpted the face for a closer fit. But I'd kept the scaling on (Ryan's got short limbs, a reduced height via the Daz morph, and is at 90.3% scale—a lot of work goes into such a tiny girl!). As a result, while my morph worked clothes didn't fit at all. So I started over by turning Ryan into a G8 morph, then dialed her back a bit and used my original dial character to get a fusion. The cousin is cute but she's not Ryan. So G8 Ryan will remain much closer to G3 Ryan when I do the final conversion. Which I may or may not do soon.

"Nice, trying to hide this from me while I'm in the shower."

"Sweetie, you're kind of weird about the whole G8 thing."

"No, I'm just upset you hid this from me. And started with Ryan. I'd like improve facial muscles! I'm expressive. That's my whole value proposition."

"You're whole value proposition is…wow…it goes on and on and on. But I wanted to perfect the process before involving you."

"Okay. You should probably put that computer aside then, because I might need some help drying off."
