We had a plan and a reference—a lovely photo of a woman kicking her heels up on a dashboard of car. Ryan owns 99% of the cars around here, so when she came by in her SSK on a hot, gorgeous sunny day, we decided to shoot in that. It turns out that as brilliant as the SSK is, it doesn't have dashboard you can kick your feet up, and Madeline is tall enough that if she doesn't put her feet in the footwell, well, there's not so much space for them. Which means her foot ended up on the steering wheel.

Ryan was less than pleased at the prospect of Madeline steering her priceless SSK with a mule-clad foot. Which was funny and perfect. So I took the picture and it turned out Madeline's expression gave this a whole different feel. I'm not complaining.

I am curious when Ryan will realize vintage cars have poor adjustment and weren't designed for 5'0" tall people. She's had to make aluminum blocks for the pedals on some of her cars.

Daz scouted the location. She certainly had nothing to do with Ryan showing up in a WW2 WAAC uniform. Ryan just does that kind of thing. Iray relied on natural light for this one. Affinity handled the postwork.
