I recently took a trip to Taiwan (it was amazing), and almost everything about the place is cute. Almost.Some of Taiwan's claw crane machines have ultra cute prizes, but other ones have, in my opinion...very questionable "prizes."
Anyway, this is Kale's reaction to some of the questionable things. Kale can be pretty good with claw machines, but he doesn't even realize what he's trying to get until it's too late. And then he makes Curbie take the "prize." Hahaha
Kale's expression is not even that surprised. He's so bleh!

This is such a beautiful piece! I am so impressed by the composition, because it is SO well-done: the way in which you framed Kale's silhouette with the yellow crane machines in contrast to the blue/ violet background is ingenious. Also, those silhouettes in the background are beautiful - the way in which you arranged and implemented them is tremendous and adds very much depth to the painting (which is always a very hard thing to do, I think!) - and you did it very skillfully!!

Always fun to win something ... questionable in these things. Ridiculously fun although they do gobble money.
Love the expression in this and the colouring. His pose is perfect for the "did I win? Did I w- .. what the heck is that?!"

Most of the claw games I play are in video games where the cash flow doesn't end as does in real life.

I think the crowd ended up pretty convincing c: And the lights and signs totally make it feel like the night market.

XD Yeah, Kale is a reserved child. That's a good word to describe him. Maybe his parents tried too hard to make him polite, and it turned out backward and he's actually kind of rude, like how he made Curbie take the toy : O

Love how bright the background is, but in contrast the focus still remains on the rather monochrome-ish character. Nice!

Looks so much fun and I get those claw games whenever I'm at the bowling alley . One time I got a really creepy cartoon character plush and I don't even what show it was from! LOL
