Thank you!!!! It means a lot that Amethyst's biggest fans enjoyed her brief adventures in animation. You may not realize it, but your support and encouragement really helped! I hope it's not the last we see of her either, these characters are way past due for their chance to shine again.

Its crazy that the best thing on TV has episodes that are a minute long each! I only wish studios will get their heads on strait and hire you to create a full series for them!

Set the way-back machine for the mid-1980s, when DC was running a maxi-series of 12 issues called Amythyst, Princess of Gemworld. It was originally not tied to the DCU at all, until the Crisis on Infinite Earths, where it was revealed that Amy Winston aka Amethyst was not just the Princess but was in fact a Lord of Order. Hence, the ties to the DCU and how she's a superhero.

Where do I begin??? Starting from the absolute abomination of restarting Action Comics' numbering to the utter desecration performed on Supergirl and Superman's costumes to the jaw-dropping trashing of Swamp Thing's origin, and continuing on into every corner of the DCU. I've nearly gotten ill from some of the material I've read. And now I hear that DC is going to repeat the mistake they made years ago when they killed off Jason Todd, in that they're going to kill off Damian Wayne.
I still hope and pray that this turns out to be just another one of the 52 worlds and the REAL DCU is out there somewhere, just waiting for this travesty to be abolished to the same dark corner of comic-book hell where things like the Spider-Man Clone Saga and such dreck reside.

And don't forget what they did to Amethyst! Retooled her so much that only the name & hair colour were the same :/ Change can be a good thing, but a complete overhaul of something that was already quite charming is an absolute shame. When you manage to turn off eventhe most die-hard of fans (myself included), you know you screwed up. Bad.
