Description
I FINALLY finished a nice picture showing off his wings. You can thank my recent Gift art! It really made me feel special and loved so I completed/started more work on Octultus.THIS is what the back of his wings look like
They're based on vulture's wings as he soars more often than not and are rather ill kept...
NOTE to Critiquers : Please be kind, this is my first attempt with actual piece of art not just a ref or base art.

wow. This is really cool. I like your use of yellows and blues.
My only suggestion would be to maybe add some highlights? But then again, maybe not (I am soo totally helpful 
Depending on what program you are using, it may be an idea to add a texture to the rock, there are lots of those tutorials out there, and you can do it in photoshop.
Otherwise, the way that you shaded the wings is really amazing! You knew exactly where to put shadows to give them lots of volume. I am so envious.
and to conclude this abnormally long comment, i would just like to say that your character is really amazing and unique (especially the floppy ears), in both anatomy and colour scheme!

Thanks ^^ I tried to add highlights but the way i did them made it look rather silly... So i stuck with the more 'cell shaded' look.
I do agree about the rock. :/ I never liked it but it was my first attempt with a BG so, all in all, I agree.

This is a beautiful piece.
I like all the yellows--it's not a color I see used well (or at all) very often. The shading is nicely rendered and adds a lot of depth.
My only criticism involve the blue around the eye. It's very pretty and nicely rendered, but blends in slightly with the background. I keep having to do a double-take. I do admit, however, that the blending could be due to a difference in screen resolutions, but it might be something to think about.
I also love how much care you took in drawing the feathers. They are such a time-consuming pain in the neck to get right.

I can see the eye thing, I did not notice it. I could highlight it and re-do it? I suppose it could be a difference in screens as well, I don't see it as wella s you i suppose XD

You can redo it if you want. ^^ Don't create more work for yourself on my account. Maybe you could ask a few others you know, and if they tell you it blends a little, then it might be a good idea to rework that area.
