Description .... Sev, because I´m afraid you´re about to be bullied again.

Snape and the Marauders. What are they up to this time?

Poor Sev looks so thin and vulnerable here . Why can´t they just leave him alone?

Pencil sketch. Hope you like it .

Not only was it four-to-one, but once the Marauders had the Map and the Cloak, there was literally no place in Hogwarts Severus could be safe from ambush except inside Slytherin House. Lily was not being fair when she expected Sev to give up his Slytherin friends. If the Slytherins turned against him, he would have nowhere at all that was safe. What was he supposed to do, live in a room at the Hog's Head and come to school as a day student? And Gryffindors like to imagine that they're noble!

P.S. Is there a reason Sev is holding his books girl-fashion? With those big, beautiful eyes and long eyelashes it gives him a bit of a feminine look, and thereby adds to his appearance of vulnerability. In real life neither large eyes nor long eyelashes are sex-linked characteristics, but in cartoons they tend to be signposts indicating that the character is female. Mickey Mouse with a skirt, hair bow, and long eyelashes equals Minnie Mouse.

I agree with you that Severus never had a real chance to escape the Marauder´s bullying. Every time they planned to bully him, they found a way to do so, especially after they had created the map. Severus only defended himself and took any opportunity he got to take revenge on the Marauders, and he had a great interest in the Dark Arts. Because of that people would think that he was an "evil boy" who deserved to be mistreated. But that´s not true. Unfortunately he was the perfect victim.

I´m working on two Marauders drawings that will show Severus being victorious .

Severus is clinging to his books as if to protect himself. I never thought of it as girl-like. He was supposed to look vulnerable and fragile, and his large eyes and mimic add to this look I think. I didn´t intend to make him look feminine.

I thought the book-clutching was protective as well. It's not only physical protection: books represent knowledge and intellect, which are precisely his points of superiority to the Marauders, and his principal form of defense.

Yeah, I know . I also know that young Snape wasn´t always the "poor victim", but in this case, he looks really concerned.
