What happened to colour,
It's gone, what a bother,
this world is much more grey.
The trees, they sigh.
The kids, they cry.
they've even turned into grey jays.

The end is far,
But lifes like are car,
it goes on endless and cold.
The road goes on,
in it's sepia tones,
Indifferent to it's hypnotic hold.

What has changed,
the world goes on,
a monotone mistress of life,
without emotion,
it rambles on,
indifferent to our suffering and strife.
