I wanted to draw something Christmas related but wasn't sure how can I depict that holiday in the Avatar world. Kissing under a mistletoe is a foreign tradition for me, but actually my favourite one So I thought why couldn't the Fire Nation have that tradition as well? In my headcanon they visited Zuko and everyone traveled to Ember Island to rest a bit. And as Zuko likes cute traditions (also, likes to kiss Mai ), there are a few mistletoes hanging above doors. Also, surprise kiss pay-back time for Katara (inspired by the invasion kiss) Here Aang is planning to fly a bit outside before the sun sets but never reaches his destination as Katara surprises him.
And yeah, as it is a post war fanart, Aang grew a bit since the last episode of the show, now he is as tall as Katara.
