Samwise Gamgee (Lord of the Rings): Frodo might have been the one to destroy the one ring, but it was Sam's courage and drive that got them through it all.

Alex Murphy (Robocop): He's just a cop trying to do the right thing. And in the end, his humanity won out against the machine inside. Indeed, Murphy's will and sense of justice is strong.

Ash Ketchum (Pokemon): He's a dolt at times and often clueless, but name one instance where Ash gave up or ran away. Even though he's stupidly stubborn, that stubbornness gives him strength of character to do what is right, even if it seems impossible.

Artanis (Starcraft): Despite being new at this whole leader thing, Artanis didn't let his people down, even as they stared into the void. He stood up against the Zerg, against Amon himself...and proved to be the great, wise, and strong-willed leader that his people deserved.

Steven Rogers, A.K.A. Captain America (Marvel): "I can do this all day." Even in Civil War, when his friend had turned against him and that same friend was willing to kill, Steve didn't cross the line and kill. Killing is easy when you're thrust into the situation, but Steve didn't do it and stands up for truth and justice.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog): Chip said it best in Sonic Unleashed: "You never give into the night or the darkness inside your heart."

Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter): He was not the chosen one, but he still stood with Hogwarts in the final battle against Voldemort and his followers, even taking off the snake's head with Godric Gryffindor's sword.

Bumblebee (Transformers): Don't let his size fool you. Bumblebee is a little bot with a heart of gold and sense of morals that rivals even Optimus Prime. He's one of the first Autobots to volunteer to go out in the field, but not because he likes the action. He volunteers because he wants to help stop the Decepticons so that peace can prevail.
