Here's my Powerpuffed rendition of Mikala Sarai, a character from The Phoenix Tales created by =sharem . The fun part was that I literally eyeballed on the anatomy based off the Sun Shang Xiang (Lady Wu) drawing by ~Lillmissthang ; however, it turned out that her left arm was badly deformed and there is no easy way to correct it.I spent most of the Thanksgiving break doing this drawing. Due to anatomical and shading issues, I spent more than a week on this drawing. I was eventually going to do to a background from scratch, but it turned out that I didn't have too much time to put up with a fuss over it, plus I was a bit lazy. The full body version of Mikala was supposidly holding a sword, but it turns out that she's holding a steak knife instead since she appears to be very pissed off.
I'm hoping that I can be a bit quicker on the drawing when I get my vintage GRiD Convertible 2270 for Christmas! More about it in my upcoming journal.
Anyways, I have no plans to rework this drawing from scratch due to time constraints. In the mean time, it's almost 6 AM and I'm going to bed very soon.

I can see the slight problems with the anatomy and such and yes, the left arm does appear to be off. But I still love this drawing...
And as for her looking pissed off... she looks like that most of the time anyway...

I have said it before and i shall say it again! I love your coloring bro. I worked on oekakis too but never was able to color like you do brolly! Plus, young warrior, you have tremendous stamina to work on a picture for a week.

Although, I copied the pose from one of the deviations that I linked to, her left arm and one of her legs didn't turn out the way I wanted it, which is one of the reasons why the anatomy was off.

I had some flaws in my pic as well when it come the hands and the position of the arm.
But it was barely noticeable to me until you said something, juts looked like muscle.

Yeah. Not every drawing is perfect, ya know, because this drawing has some major flaws. I may eventually have to do Mikala, but in a different pose in the near future.

I like the peace buckle on the belt. You could tone down the highlights on the hair a little, I think - less can be more!

It's really good, and the hair is really amazing!
However, not only her left arm is deformed, but her right leg seems a bit wrong. The folds on the clothing seems unnatural, too.
Other than that, it's great!
