This is my first new drawing on dA in over six months...thanks to the continued drama on dA and the ongoing computer problems for most of this past year.

To celebrate a belated 100,000 pageviews, I have unveiled my own Gaia avatar known as Pink Rainbow along with the Nuunuu bunny - named after a favwhoring deviant who got banned over a year ago. Most of this drawing was originally done at my six-year old PaintBBS Oekaki .

I tried to work on the anatomical proportions of this drawing twice, but the java applet crashed on me twice and I had to do the base anatomy all over again. For the third time, the java applet crashed again while I was attempting to shade this drawing. Incase that happened, I managed to screencap the drawing. I managed to complete the lineart and flat colours though. The rest had to be done at Insomnia Oekaki .

I managed to get her wavy hair as detailed as possible and even attempted different skin tone colours.

How did you get the name "Pink Rainbow" and what is the character design?

The Pink Rainbow Gaia avatar was created on 25 December 2006 and it has gone through a few design changes before it was finalised. Pink Rainbow was based of things that were everything pink, rainbowy and stylish. The colour of her hair is pink, she wears a pink virgin dress, has a ruby bracelet on her hands with rainbow coloured socks.

If this is a Gaia avatar drawing, why is the drawing not submitted in the Gaia Picture Post forums nor the Art Arena?

The rules and guidelines state in the Gaia Picture Post forums as well as the Art Arena only accept anime and realism related artwork. I'm only a amature artist that is only capable of doing almost any drawing in Powerpuff form. The design of the Powerpuff based anatomy is much less robust than the general anime and realistic anatomy structers. After failed attempts at doing anime artwork a couple of years back, it is infeasible to attempt to do anymore anime related works on my own.

Why is the Nuunuu bunny featured in this drawing?

The Nuunuu bunny was named after !Nuunuu and it was based off a avatar that was referenced here . I managed to save the avatar on my ImageShack account incase the data on !Nuunuu 's account got purged.

As you may already know, she was banned on the 15th of September 2006 for maliciously abusing the favourites system by using some sort of exploit or a script to randomly fav works at a rapid rate despite the fact that she had 72,864 favourites on her account.
