Metroid, It's has really been an awesome series to me.It was also the first time I couldn't choose what to draw, the whole metroid series has awesome and epic battles spread everywhere.
Then I realised, Metroid is not only about fighting and epicness, but also exploration and beauty.
Seeing the winter wonderlands of Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime has really been one of the most awesome experience ever.
The atmosphere, the realism, the way how the flickerbats flies around the pillars and the beautiful music really made it a legendary area.
Also the first time using soft shading properly, looking incredible

Honestly, dem feels for environment! ... Metroid has nothing special that makes it so amazing. There is no Fluffy Grass , shader v999 leaves , Reflecting Metal 4K textures ... instead it uses the overall composition of colors that alone look pale and boring. Metroid doesn't have juicy design and colors. It's very toned down and gives off a real sci-fi theme that breaks design formulas. It's why I love exploring Metroid's worlds. Even though they are looking ugly, empty, lonely, boring to me, their ugliness, emptiness, loneliness and boring design are sooooo beautifully made that I just want to re-play the game again & again. And now dear sir, I'm gonna start the game 9th time already xD

Yet, despite all of that, I still find enough details in this game, I don't see it as 'lonelyness' or 'emptyness'.
