Description
last week i made a drawing of a cylon basestar from one of my favorite scifi series, Battlestar Galactica.

just off center is the basestar viewed from the top (or bottom, for all we know). to the left are various cross-secrions of the radial arms (headcanon, of course). on the upperright are the two type of raiders the basestar carries, plus 3 types of missiles (ship-ship/air-air, nuclear missile, multi warhead doomsday pod).

i also tried drawing the arms in detail, with 5x5 raider launch tubes (not exact), 32 missile launch tubes (headcannon), and some odd bumps near the arms base that i like to think are point-defense gun emplacements (utter speculation).

on the lowerright are mt two interpretiations of the interior of the central axis. on top is a dense latticework of inhabitable compartments (my own imagination), and on the bottom is a cavernous space with colossal reactor-like objects poking from the floor (as seen in the final episode of season 1)
