My final submission to =theluminarium 's pack 5th Dimension.This work was inspired by the Swan Nebula (m17) pretty while ago. The first version of the work was pretty lame and I had to put it away.
I recalled about this work when I saw a work by my fellow artist =JoeJesus . His Brightscape reminded me that I had a similar work waiting for me
And finally this work was inspired by this user icon
It was a nice opportunity to finally draw a space that is not dark and gloomy but bright and "joy" sort to say. I decided to start the work from the white sheet to get rid of the previous mistakes and implement my new skills in painting nebs.
Techs:Size - 4800х3000
Time - day
Layers - ~60
Software and hardware used: Photoshop CS4, Wacom Intuos3
I'm more than satisfied with this work. It turned out exactly as I imagined it. Hope you like it too

Can't believe I've missed this pieces of yours. Magnificent! I try to work with a somewhat bright canvas when creating my space scapes - this piece is incredibly bright though, and yet fantastic! Love that texture on the planet btw!

Yes! I remember seeing this on the threads and I couldn't wait to see it here (I was away when you must have submitted it) but this is definetily a cool space art, and I too for so long have been wanting to do a near-white space scene myself

you usually see dark pieces with a similar subject as this one, but the fact that it's nearly all pastel-ish colors makes it remarkable

I say forget all the comments about how bright it is. Space is filled with all sorts of illuminations. There are no rules in space. In space, no one can here you scream.

It's too bright. Can't see the detail. The planet looks good but it actually is hard to see anything but light and a round rock
