Description EDIT: For the past few days I've been calling this fella Bree the doe. Bree didn't act like other does and was definately not the most feminine of the bunch. Upon closer inspection, Bree has antler nubs. So Bree is now Brae, which was the initial name I had for her, er, him.

Whitetails shed their antlers sometime between January and April. It's the tail end of January so I'm guessing he recently shed them. Sounds like it's time for me to go for a hike in the woods

Well...(hehe) I hate to point out. But you can't tell the gender of white-tails by JUST antler nubs. In rare cases, does get antlers. So the only way to be sure is peek under and look for those types of nubs (ahem)
