A Link Between Worlds took place both in the familiar Hyrule of A Link to the Past as well as in the mirror dimension of Lorule. It also had the distinct gimmick of having Link transform himself into a painting and move along the walls in a 2D plane. Any stage representing the game should reflect these aspects.

I’d say the stage should be set more or less on or in Hilda’s Castle, probably in her throne room, with a few of Yuga’s paintings hanging on the walls. I’m not sure how to incorporate the 2D/3D switching gimmick exactly, but I would at least like for there to be a wall section for players to fight each other as 2D paintings.
