It's one of the main reasons - actually - that I don't post much macro content on DA and probably won't much in the future either. It doesn't make any sense to me that a giant would have clothing. If he grew, why would the clothing grow too? If he was always that way, who made the clothes? It just seems absurd to me, so it is extremely rare for me to depict a giant who is clad.

Reading some stories on Coiled Fist there are always a few details that make me go, hmmmm.
Clothing is one of them, and what you say is perfectly true.
First, it's fantasy. But for me, I try to twist it to reality.
Same is true for visual art as well.
However, all that being said, it is truly possible for there to be ways for the clothes that are currently being worn by a person who grows for the clothes to grow with that person as well. It's only when you need to change your clothes that it becomes a problem. That and shaving and bathing and cutting toenails and fingernails and brushing teeth and hair issues among other things.
It's tough being a giant all the way around!
And, if the giant is naked, isn't the air above colder than the air down below?
So wouldn't the giant be colder?
Or is there a code about that somewhere...
