Edit: Huge jump in art here, but this is the final, colored copy of Hiro and Lucia from my couples poll. The actual piece I ended up giving to my friend because of how much she loves this pairing. We got to hang out at A-kon; it was spiffy.

Some of the colors came out a bit darker than I'd intended. Turns out I don't have anything even resembling the off-white color of Lucia's shirt, so I had to wing it with what I had. All 'n all, I like how it came out. I still need more practice with cell shading, but I'm getting better.

And with this piece, the couples poll is complete. Huzzah! Expect another one in the future, but first...other stuffs!

Done in about 5 hours with prismacolor markers, fine-lines, and colored pencils.

I didn't have reference images for either character when I started drawing this, so I decided to give them some winter clothes to make up for the fact that I could only remember certain portions of their outfits. I had originally planned to make it a full body sketch, but I had a really hard time getting Lucia's legs to look right. I may still do it...just need to take a break from working on it so that I can look at it later with fresh eyes.
