Edit: Finished the lineart for this piece...finally. The femmes in the image are all thosts (Cybertronian prostitutes), and Crossarm is a regular customer at their club, "Voyage." The femme dancing in the foreground, as well as the one giving Crossarm a shoulder massage are nameless OCs, whereas the one holding his bracer is an OC belonging to a friend of mine. Her name is Blitz and she's about Arcee's size for scale.

The table is cluttered with various intoxicants and some Cybertronian "drugs."

For whatever reason, drawing Crossarm, with all his vices, makes me feel much better about myself. Strange, eh?

Ratchet used to hate Saturdays.
Humans, for reasons that the seasoned medic could not fathom, lumped seven of their solar cycles into a unit of time called a "week," the first five cycles of which were mostly devoted to education, work or a combination of the two. The last two cycles of the week, colloquially known as Saturday and Sunday, seemed to function as a sort exaggerated holiday, whereby the humans would, on the whole, abstain from work or school and recreate in various ways.
Jack, Miko, and Rafael--the human children who had, inadvertently, stumbled into the middle of their millennia-old, civil war with the Decepticons--were no different from other humans, except that their recreational activities spanned the gauntlet from

I had a meeting on Friday. While I did learn a few new things, most of it, sadly, was information that I had already learned from being an associate professor for 5 years prior to being hired full-time. So, as per my usual, I got to sketching...and who should come to mind but Crossarm. I wasn't able to draw a background, but I imagine he's in a bar surrounded by awesome tunes, attractive femmes, and lots of energon intoxicants. Most of my sketches never see the light of day, but I was so happy with this one that I had to post it.

For those watchers who have been patiently waiting on the next installment of WaW...it's coming, and Crossarm is going to figure heavily into upcoming events. Just have to finish two pieces for two very awesome (and incredibly patient) people.

Thank you all for being cool with the sudden change in my work schedule. You'll see more of me in the near future.
