UGHHHHHHHHHHH this man. ive got so many mixed feelings on him.

For those who don't know, this is Utanomiyatsuko Tsubame (歌造ツバメ), he's a rather old UTAU, released back in 2008 (well ik that's not THAT old but). I kinda tweaked the colors on his design here to be a bit more desaturated and match up better just... 'cause. yea.

i really like his voice (two of the best examples i've got are here and here ) and his character design, but the main thing is... i really do not like the "canon bio information" that was given to him... i uh, won't explain it here but if you look him up i'm sure you can find it and. 💀 yeah.

GENUINELY I'M REALLY SAD/MAD because his character has potential!! but it's really unfortunate that he was given those really gross details. it's not just him, honestly, a lot of early vocaloid/utauloid stuff was rampant with those kinds of "jokes" that have. you know. aged badly because oh my god you should not be joking about that stuff in the first place that's?? kinda really messed up??

not saying the community's perfect nowadays either, it DEFINITELY isn't, but yknow. to deny some of that stuff ever happened would be to deny that the prejudices and nasty "normalization" of certain things existed in the first place.

i hope nobody would mind if i secretly took his character and rewrote it to remove all that nasty stuff... people rewrite their faves all the time so like.. pls. i have the technology i can make him better and free him from the past, redemption arc

he really doesn't deserve that so i will do him more justice than his creator ever could >:0 nobody can stop me its 2023, im not making money off of this its just for fun (and decency b/c SERIOUSLY) so who cares.

plus imo, jaded butler with the personality of a dead inside, underpaid retail worker is a million times funnier than whatever his og personality was meant to be 💀 get that outta here
