I hope all the ghosts in here don't count as characters.

Story:
They said that they'd hit every single house this year for Halloween Trick or Treating.
Even the creepy mansion at the edge of town.
On a giant ledge hovering over oblivion.
Out past the cemetery with all the dead trees.
Where kids swear they saw a ghost in the fog every halloween.

What could possibly go wrong?

lol short story, but still a story.
Here's a bit of extra backstory just for some detail.

Daphne lives in a city with a very low dainty population. Because of this, every year, they throw a week long dainty integration program during the week of halloween with things like horror movies and haunted houses. It actually became quite popular over the years with large numbers of dainties and even other species from all over flocking to the city for a week of fun. Daphne hosts visiting dainties in her house during the week since usually the influx of people is too much for the hotel system to handle, and building a new one is going to take a long time. She has a tradition of using her guests to prank and pester her sort-of-girlfriend Syrinx into leaving the house for once, which is why she's there with them and not in her room watching horror movies.

The characters:
Daphne: chipper as always(as an angel)
Syrinx(adopted from plantplague ): wanted to stay home and watch Cabin in the Woods again. (as a DIY wendigo)
Kanon(bandit1971 ): Not so sure about the creepy house(As kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service)
Denver(oreorc ) and Camellia(PixelatedMas ): already barganing eachothers favorite sweets from each other(as a cupcake, and in a japanese sailor uniform(I'm not well versed enough in anime to pick an actual character))

For this contest the theme is simply drawing your Dainty having some Halloween fun! Draw them in their Halloween costume, going trick or treating, throwing a Halloween bash, being Halloween pranksters, filling up on candy, watching a scary movie, bobbing for apples, being spooked by a ghost, whatever is a Halloween activity to you!
This year we are looking for an art entry but also a little blurb or story about what is going on in the picture! Use the artist comment to tell the viewers what's happening in the entry you drew!
