i think you could do with sharpening the background and maybe adding more depth... even a curves filter might do it

yeah sorry. I was thinknig of your Reinforcements submit with the step-by-step of the layer build. The styles/colours used are kinda the same so got confused. That was really interesting to watch by the way [the layer build], I'd like to see more in the future if possible (:

i will be doing more layer builds. including one of this particular piece. it just takes a while to do and i wanted to get this up. check in the next couple days for a journal with it.
