A Greater Flamingo, taken at Adelaide Zoo, 21 Jan 2011
For those who live in Adelaide and heard about it, this is the Flamingo which a group of teenagers bashed to within an inch of its life.
What drives people to want to bash a pink fluffy bird? Can it REALLY make them feel that manly?
I dont know whats wrong with some people.
Anyhow, i really love Flamingos

I know, i really dont understand people sometime. Those kids should have taken on a more worthy opponent, maybe the pair of tigers. But of course, then the tigers might not eat their breakfast in the morning

And he's a real sweetheart, he comes up to the edge of the enclosure to look at the kids (though he's blind in one eye)
And he's insanely fluffy looking, i can imagine how soft he would be
He's doing well for 65-ish years old
