I mean what do you use for the eyelashes, and how do you glue them down?

argh, that's complicated to explain in english, because i can't translate exactly. D: we use usual glue for paper, wooden etc... in german it means glue for handicrafts... it's white glue and it turns clear while drying.
put the glue with a toothpick or something on the eyehole (=BJDs) or lashes and then put together...

I'm thinking about trying a repaint for the first time soon. Do you have any tips or need to knows for me? I hope my questions aren't too much of a bother!

we get a lot of these questions. but when someone asked as nice as you did we answer!^^ use oilfree pastels and/or aquarelle pencils or acryl colors. Nailpolish remover (oilfree and acetonfree!) for removing the old colors and please wash the head after it. and you need a fixing spray, we use MSC (Mr. Super Clear FLAT) for example. you can google it, such as on youtube you can find a lot of videos about doing face-ups. But for MH please don't use usual Thinner, it's too aggressive for vinyl dolls!

i'm sorry but i don't have time to do a detailed tutorial! but you can see the steps in these pictures too! i used acetone-free and oilfree nailpolish remover to remove the old colors (please wash the head after it with clear water!). i used white acrylic paint and watercolor pencils/aquarelle and soft pastels (oilfree) for the blushing. and MSC before and after for fixing everything. i hope that helps too.

hm~ I used Purity Seal to seal the color on the face! ^^ but I think you can use MSC too?! have you MSC with UV cut or without UV cut? I think without would be better because with UV cut it could light up the face a bit because of the UV powder in the MSC spray, you know?
