First of all, This is simply amazing. I love the sketch and especially the wolf. Though the scribbles is a little off. I think that you did good but I excpect better.

Firstly this drawing actually wasn't supposed to have the critique requesting feature on it, when I submit a deviation it automatically selects it and I forgot to unselect it.Β
But yeah, this was a simple 15 minute sketch to warm up, if I was focusing on the anatomy and perfecting it a bit more I would had done so. I'm well aware of my shortcomings in human and canine anatomy and I continue to work on them, specifically in my more serious work.Β
There are some reasons for how Legolas and Floof look like they do (also Legolas is a male elf child in this, though you kind of have to know the Lord of the Rings fandom yeah to know that.)Β Β Floof is a young pup in this drawing and his fur isn't fully grown in. Wargs get to be a large size so I imagine their anatomy can be developed this much at a young age. Though, yeah, Legolas's legs are very off in this drawing. I was doodling and ran into you proportional problems so I had to make due. I wasn't aiming for perfection here, just practice.Β
Lastly, in future would you mind being a bit more respectful in your critiques? All the artists on this site work very hard on their artwork and when guidance is needed people tend to respond better to specifics and constructive criticism than "ewww."Β

I'm wondering if this is an automatic feature, the critique option already filled in? Β It's a great sketch, and I've had my own questions about it, more about the background than the actual drawing, but my brain is going on auto-pilot from all of the Disturbed I've been listening to
In hindsight I should have read YOUR post before I read Snakesite's post. Β But I say again, I am willing to give it time and if you are passionate about this sketch as I am sure you are passionate about a great deal of your artwork, the sketch will go where it is meant to go (though I hinted at fleshing out and colored in : P)
I can't say you have "shortcomings" since you seem to hammer out some pretty convincing artwork anyways, but I did get a little confused at the vestment? Β At first I saw "tribal" (and I will confess I did see that Korra and Iroh(?) drawing first). Β And I just had a question of the elf kid in the picture in that I was wondering if the aging was similar to human children? Β It's a REALLY dumb question and you don't have to answer any of them, I was just wondering if that was what you were going for with the sketch? Β It wouldn't make me feel so bad with that judgement to think that kids grow into their bodies be them elven, dwarven, human, orcish or otherwise.
