Venerated Defense[TRAP CARD]
If a monster you control is selected as an attack target, Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower monster from your hand or GY with a different Type as the attack target: Switch the attack target to the monster Summoned, but negate its effect. A monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot be used as Link Material and is destroyed during your next End Phase.

If a monster you control is targeted by your opponent’s card effect, Special Summon 1 Level 2 or higher monster from your hand or GY with a different Type as that target: Switch the target to the monster Summoned, but it cannot attack your opponent directly this turn. A monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot be used as Link Material and is destroyed during your next End Phase.
