SCP-939's primary method of luring prey is the imitation of human speech in the voices of prior victims, though imitation of other species and active nocturnal hunts have been documented.What better way to kick off October than with some funky SCP content?

Not much info on that, but for a rough explanation that will only make things more confusing, take this Reddit comment: "Cold-blooded troglodyte-like cave creatures that can mimic people in distress (despite never hearing them) to lure people to their deaths. They eat despite having nowhere for it to go and vomit it up from their throats/lungs when it impedes their function. They can breed and bear live young that look just like human babies. Said babies eventually tear off their heads and skins and look like the adult 939 but smaller. Only thing that curbs their hunger is apparently live human flesh despite the fact that they can't digest it. "

I'm always really glad when I'm making a successful atmosphere and honestly making the spooky ones is always really fun when you create an otherworldly feel, make things feel off, or just have people have an "Oh Lord what is that" moment, helps a lot when the subject of the drawing is already pretty intriguing.
