Europe, 10 Million years after mankind.
Global Warming turned the European Continent in an area with a warm, humid climate, smilar to the tropics. The ground is covered in ferns and other plants, giant trees grow to the sky. The high temperatures and many lakes make this area home to many insects and amphibians.

Forceps herons, named after their huge beaks, which they use to catch small animals, are common animals in the Euro-Tropics and so their screams can be heared almost everywhere. They are about as large as a human and lost their ability to fly and became ground predators. The huge length of their beak is quite useful: While they snatch up prey, their eyes aren`t covered by bushes, water or ferns and so they can try to spot enemies, but the enemies we`re talking about are stealthy, camouflaged and bear a deadly weapon.
