Description

Something quick I made for my sista, . This was inspired after I saw my sista's short comic strip, Erased Away. And the story goes like this.

PS. Please forgive the Keyblade. The model of Kain's ACTUAL keyblade isn't done yet, so until then, I intend to have Kain use random keyblades until his real one is finished.

After learning about the unfortunate circumstance of Doran's mechanical twin forgetting his beloved, Ghidrah, Ekkusu began to debate on how to tell her. Or, if he should tell her at all. It was then that he was surprised to find someone walk up pass him. A man wearing a black, sleeveless jacket and a pair of blue, denim jeans. Confused and concerned, Ekkusu confronted the man.

Ekkusu: Who are you?

Kain: My name is Kain.

Ekkusu: Kain? I've heard that name before. You're a friend of Ghidrah's.

Kain: Yes. I've been through the same pain as her. The pain of loss. I stayed by her side to help her through it.

The intimidating Super Kaiju just closed his eyes and nodded to the boy.

Ekkusu: Thanks kid. I appreciate it.

Kain: You're welcome, but my name isn't "kid".

Kain then sighed as he then turned to the mechanical dragon before him.

Kain: Who is this?

Xor-Mecha Doran: My name is Ghidoran.

Kain: G-Ghidoran?! As in Ghidrah's boyfriend that died?

Xor-Mecha Doran: I... suppose so. If you don't mind... tell me... who is this Ghidrah?

Kain then looked shocked and concerned as he knew that look on his face, all to well. He then turned to Ekkusu knowing fully what the problem was.

Kain: He lost his memory of her, hasn't he?

Ekkusu: I fear so.

Ekkusu then turned to Doran as he felt sorrowful.

Ekkusu: He seems to remember everything else, but just not her.

Kain: Is that so...

Kain looked at Doran. Feeling sad for him and Ghidrah. He then thought hard, trying to figure out if there was something that he could do. Then, suddenly, he had an epiphany. Kain then let a light shine in his hand a key shaped weapon appeared in his hand. Ekkusu was shocked as he took a stance, not knowing what was happening.

Ekkusu: What is that?

Kain: It's called a keyblade. It's a weapon with mystical properties and powers. I think I can use it to help Doran regain his memories of Ghidrah.

Ekkusu: S-Seriously?! You mean it?

Kain: It's a long shot, but I have to try.

Ekkusu: You have to? Why? What do you possibly gain from helping him remember her?

Kain: Perhaps at least an hour of private time with Pyra. Seriously, I love Ghidrah, but I can't be alone with Pyra without her popping up somewhere.

Ekkusu: I... see...

Kain: Okay, that was a bit of a joke. I do want to have my own time with Pyra while Ghidrah can spend time with Ghidoran. But...

Kain then looked down and smiled as he got serious.

Kain: Ghidrah's been there for me when I need someone to help me get through the loss of Pyra. She's been a great friend to me. And, even though I got Pyra back. I hate to think that I'd be a bad friend if I didn't at least try and help her get her boyfriend back for her.

Ekkusu was shocked to hear that a stranger like Kain, who hadn't been around them for very long, would be willing to so much for someone he hardly knew. He then just smiled as he stepped back.

Ekkusu: Alright then. If that's your reasoning, then I trust you. Do what you can, okay?

Kain: That's the plan.

Kain then stood before Doran and held his keyblade up as he placed both hands on the handle and stand firm.

Kain: Doran. I'm gonna need you to stand perfectly still. Okay?

Xor-Mecah Doran: Understood.

As the two nodded, Kain's keyblade shot a beam of light into Doran's head as he then passed out. Shortly after Doran hit the ground, so did Kain. The two were knocked out as Kain was roaming around in Doran's subconcious. He travel around for what seemed like hours, until he came across something that seemed familiar. He noticed what seemed to be Ghidrah's sleeping face, but the rest of her body was surrounded by darkness.

Kain: Ghidrah?! *examines the darkness around her* Hmm... If I had to guess. This darkness must be restricting Doran from regaining the rest of his memories of Ghidrah. Which would stand to reason, if I get rid of the darkness around her, that should restore his memories of her. Well, here goes nothing.

Kain held on tight of his keyblade as he plunged the blade into the ground and created a shockwave of darkness that consumed the area. The shockwave was so powerful, that Kain quickly awoke from his slumber as he rubbed his head.

Kain: Okay. That hurt.

Ekkusu: You okay kid?

Kain: I'm fine. Hows, Doran?

The two then looked at Doran who had awoken and was starring at his hands as tears filled his eyes.

Xor-Mecha Doran: G... Gh... Ghidrah. I... I remember her. Ghidrah... my love.

Kain: I think it's safe to say it worked.

Ekkusu: I believe so. *smacks Kain's back* Nice job kid.

Kain: *cringes as he slowly recovers from the painful smack* N-No problem.

Xor-Mecha Doran: Ghidrah... I... I need to see her. NOW!

He then began to rush to the door, before Ekkusu stopped him.

Ekkusu: Hang in there bro. I think it would be best if we prepare her for you first. She may find it hard to believe you're alive. Not to mention your current state as well.

Doran then looked down as he quickly remembered that most of his body was now cybernetic.

Xor-Mecah Doran: Y-Yeah. I suppose you have a point.

Kain: Just be a little patient buddy. It shouldn't take long.

Xor-Mecha Doran: Thank you. ... Both of you. ... For everything.

The two just smiled and left as they began trying to figure out how to explain this situation to Ghidrah.
