I drew this picture as a birthday present for ! I'm sorry it's late, but I really hope you like it!
Athrun wants you to have this teddy bear! Happy birthday!!! BTW I don't own the character, but I drew the picture all by myself!

After receiving some helpful advice from ~obsessed , I edited the picture to try and fix the proportions up a bit! To balance things out, I drew Athrun's right hand bigger, then lengthened the sleeve on his left arm to try and get it to seem more natural...
I hope it worked!!!

I think I recognise that outfit, too! It's one of my favourites; he's wearing it on a poster I have.
I don't know what the previous version looked like, but I think the proportion of the hand to the head looks fine. Hands can be such a pain to fit in with the rest of the picture x__x;; (especially when the character isn't showing the entire hand and you have to imagine whether it's the right size when stretched out...)

I really have a tough time with proportions. I have the most trouble with subtle things.... For instance, in the original, the hand was only slightly too small, the other arm's sleeve slightly too short. Those minor changes made a big difference, though.

It must be the length of his sleeves that made things difficult. I looked at the poster before, and I saw they were 3/4 length sleeves, and I know that would confuse my proportions if I was drawing it! I suppose it's easy to accidentally think of them as full-length sleeves and then confuse how long the arms should be. But given that, I think you did really well. ^^
Silly Athrun couldn't make up his mind on whether to wear t-shirt sleeves or full-length ones...

That was probably part of what gave me trouble with the proportions. At first, I thought I'd leave it just as it was, but it kept bothering me.... And now I'm really glad I decided to fix it.
