Description
If I were to design a cover for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, this what it would look like.I like this picture and I don't. Buckbeak came out very well, I think, but he's the only part of this picture I'm totally happy with. Their arms are all wrong, the lighting sucks and I arse up Prongs, which arsed up lots of other things . Dominoe effect, y'know ^_-
Oh, and I say "cover" as in book cover. As much as I adored Oldman and Thewlis in the film, I'm going by my own versions of the characters as percieved by me when I read the book

Wow, this is very, very interesting. Paraphrasing what you said, there are some anatomical mistakes here and there, but Buckbeak for example, came out really, really good ^_^ I also like a lot what's going on, sp. on the two guys. Sirius looks like he's trying to help Remus yet he looks mad (great idea of hiding his eyes with hair) and Lupin seems like well, he's inexpressive. He doesn't know what to do... plus the hand on the moon is a sweet idea (instead of the classic werewolf silhouette)
Brightness & composition are some major defects too, but if this appeared instead of the cheesy cover I got in my PoA copy I'd be very, very happy.

That's seriously Kool! But Rems face is....scary. + abit sorta chubby or slack looking in the bottom Half. Sorry, i can't help but comment like that sometimes. But It's Great! Scary green Slobber! Gah! lol.

AWESOME drawing. Remus looks really...woah. It's kind of creepy-looking, though, heh heh heh. I like how you did Remus's clothes too, and Sirius's face...Great job!

gorgeous. i love how all the marauders are in it. as a picture it is absolutely perfect, but as a PoA cover, i can't help but think (a) it gives too much away, and (b) harry needs to be in there somewhere. however, i think sirius is perfectly mysetrious/scary/non-spoiler-ish and just plain perfect and i've honestly begun to think of harry as that moody brat who isn't sirius. it would really be the perfect cover for a fic i read a while back of PoA from remus' point of view. ok. going to shut up now and just

My God, your Sirius looks SCARY! *approves* Wonderful choice of colours, the composition is lovely... but yes, the best thing is Buckbeak by far. I agree with you about the arms, but the colouring is gorgeous. Especially considering it was done in markers, which makes me green with envy just by thinking about it. Great picture!

Patchwork!Moony! Barking mad!Padfoot! Oh, *yeah*! This is lovely, I like the palette of nighttime colours, it brings the more subtle highlights out immediately. (Wah, Scabbers! Buckbeak! Prongs!)
...That's gonna be one hell of an embrace they're about to pull into. >_o Hope Sirius has some iodine on hand.
Strangely enough, they still resemble Thewlis and Oldman a lot to me, but that might be some sort of subconscious reaction...

This is positively fanTAStic. The colors and the dynamics of it all! I looooove how you got all of them in their various incarnations. Prongs just makes me want to weep, and I love little Wormtail crawling on Remus' arm. And Remus! Oh man, I feel both sad for him and terrified of him. That stunned expression, like he knows transformation is inevitable and he can't do anything to prevent it....breaks the heart.
And Sirius, my god, Sirius. I love his mouth and the torn-up emotion of him. This is what a man who's spent 12 years in Azkaban should look like. He's absolutely PERFECT in every detailed, perfect way.
And god, Buckbeak. I am totally in are of your Buckbeak. Like, I want to bow down to him, and never really stand back up again. I'm happy here, bowing. Your rendition of Buckbeak deserves, at least, that.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The blend of media is seamless, and makes me hiss in envy. I can't see the faults, because the whole image is far to elegantly composed for me to pick at. And, artists are generally hypercritical of their work.
