Here's my contest entry for 's contest. I meant to get this done sooner, but I got busy with school and currently having a blast with Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I also was going to do another entry for the contest, but I think of ran out of time (I might rework it into a gift if I don't get slammed with school work or get distracted by SSBU, which is a really fun game btw). Anyway, I'll quickly talk about this artwork now. Basically, it's a redraw of one of Ralsei's sprites when he's using his healing spell, but it has more wisps of magic here. While I mainly colored his scarf red here (instead of the canon pink color), I still did add some pink in his scarf. The heart on his robe is based on Fireheart745's version of the heart (which seems to be an emblem or medallion). The black line on the robe, his pants, and his shoes are based on his Ralsei design too (for the shoes, it's more loosely based on the design. I added a bit of my own flair to them). His hair was both based on his sprite when not wearing the hat and my own interpretation of it. His hair points downwards while UTΔ Asriel's hair points upwards. Lastly, my signature here was based on the menu options of FIGHT, ACT, MAGIC, ITEM, MERCY, and DEFEND. Anyway, I'm done rambling on. Exactly! Everyone needs to hug that fluffy boy! No problem! And I can see how Ralsei would be fun to draw, especially considering how his facial features has mostly been a silhouette throughout the game.
Alright, thanks for the warning. Not really surprised though, whenever a new game for a series I like comes out, I almost always get addicted to it, even if I end up finding it mediocre later (Sonic Forces, Pokemon XY, etc).
