I wanted to test out and challenge my patterning skills before I start the ancestor scalemate set and as soon as I saw the art by foxiz, I knew this would be a good first step. I spent about 3 hours just patterning this monster and I regret some of the design is covered by the sash. I tried to design it as to minimize what the sash would cover but I do think it takes away from the design a little. I tried to base most of it off the original art but due to spacing in the pattern there’s only so much that I could do so I chose to interpret some of it. Anywho I spent slightly less time on her than Kurloz thank God XD Most of this had to be hand stitched due to the delicate seam work but I’m very satisfied with the result! Everything is done in fabric, there is no paint on this scalemate.
