Description
I pulled the cigarette away from my lips and blew, letting a thin stream of smoke fly up into the air where it spread out and vanished. I watched the smoke for a second then turned my attention back to the circle of guys in front of me, my gang.
"I'm quitting." I said simply. The last of the sun light vanished, leaving us in semi darkness.
"You can't fucking quit. You're in for life." The guy nearest to me growled. I sighed and shook my short hair back.
"Well I'm quitting right now." I snapped back. I let my cigarette fall to the ground and crashed it with my heel.
"You do know that quitting means you have to get beaten up by the rest of us." He informed me. I chuckled darkly.
"I know." I said simply. "Now, who wants to fight me first?" I asked, a smirk playing on my lips.
In reply my second in command launched himself at me, wielding a metal pipe. I step side his first swing and kicked him in the stomach while he was still off balanced. He fell to the ground, face first.
"Who's next?" I questioned as I stepped over his body.
"You bitch! You are our leader!" another of my men shouted.
"Shut up!" I threatened, my eyes flashing. I punched him in the face, jerking his head to the side. He staggered backwards and I punched him again. This time he fell to the ground, a thin river of blood coming from his mouth. I kicked him in the stomach.
"No one calls the Moonlit Blood a bitch!" I growled as I kicked him again in the gut. He grunted and screwed his eyes close.
I heard an angry noise behind me. I turned around and saw three more coming at me.
I punched the first in the face, kicked the second in the stomach, and sidestepped the third but their act of stupidity had gotten the rest of my gang to turn on me.
Though I was one hell of a fighter I couldn't take on twenty gangsters at the same time. Soon I was the one on the ground, being beaten.
"Here you go you bloody bastard, your goodbye present." One guy sneered as he kicked me in the ribs. I coughed and blood splattered the ground.
"Fuck you." I threatened. I tried to stand by someone shoved me back to the ground, holding me down with their foot.
"Where do you think you are going?" a blond head asked as he pushed down harder on my back with his boot. I cringed and grabbed his foot, pulling him to the ground with me.
Twenty pairs of arms grabbed me, grabbing the blonde away from me, and punching me with all they got.
"Fucking bastards…" I choked out as they threw me to the fence. I slid down the fence and landed in a heap on the ground, leaving a trail of blood behind me.
"Well look at our leader now, just a pathetic lump." Some guy gaffed. Using the last of my strength I launched myself at him, breaking his nose. Someone else grabbed me and threw me to the ground.
I was too weak to get up. My blood began to pool beneath me. I sighed and looked up to where all of the gang members stared at me, wanting my blood. I sighed and stared past them, at the stars. I was going to die, I just knew it.
A guy grabbed me by the front of my shirt and lifted me off the ground. He pulled his fist back and punched me right in the face. I coughed up more blood as he punched me again and again and again.
"Stop!" I voice commanded.
"And who the hell do you think you are?" someone else asked.
"I said stop!" the voice demanded. I fell to the ground, my head striking hard on the cruel ground.
I opened my eyes a bit and saw a guy with light brown hair and matching eyes standing in front of me. I didn't recognize him as one of my gang. I briefly wondered who he was.
"Run…" I choked out through all the blood in my mouth. Those brown eyes flickered towards me for a second then back at my gang.
"Please, let him go." The stranger asked my gang. One of them sneered and laughter ran out.
"Why should we do that?" someone asked.
"Because of this." The stranger replied, pulling out something. He threw it to the guy who had been punching me earlier.
"Money!" he exclaimed when he saw what it was. The stranger nodded.
"That money for this young man." The stranger said.
"Deal." The gang said. "This ones all yours." They all laughed as someone kicked me to the stranger's feet.
The stranger gently leaned down and picked me up, he was surprisingly strong for someone so fragile looking. He held me to his chest as he began to walk away from my gang.
"Your safe now." He whispered softly to me.
"Thank you…" I whispered as my eyes fluttered shut. "Thank you for everything…" then I blacked out.

"Money!" he exclaimed when he saw what it was. The stranger nodded.
"That money for this young man." The stranger said.

The stranger gently leaned down and picked me up, he was surprisingly strong for someone so fragile looking. He held me to his chest as he began to walk away from my gang.
"Your safe now." He whispered softly to me.
"Thank you…" I whispered as my eyes fluttered shut. "Thank you for everything…" then I blacked out.
