Because of the incident with his weird interest sometimes he can feel anxious in crowds and want to be alone however most times he needs the attention to feel valid. He is quick to trust people because of his reliance on companionship but this doesn't mean he won't have a mind of his own when needed. Around people, he tends to be more to himself, in contrast to when he gets to hang out with hybrids he will be more talkative and involved. This is because he is more comfortable with a mostly hybrids versus humans crowd.
Ever since he was a child, Soren has been a breath of fresh air. Though he was never confident in much that he did, he could always put a smile on someone's face. For the most part, he is easy to get along with because of how relatable he can be other times it's his inviting personality that might draw people to him. He's warm-hearted and rarely gets angry, making him easily an outwardly friendly person.
his Job, odd hobbies, even his passions, you name it- he is true to it. His work is, of course, the most important just over his value of friends. While he is kind-hearted and will go out of his way for someone, his loyalty is questionable if his loyalty to something or someone else is on the line.

Sensitive|Dependant|InsecureIt's not hard to make him blush and it's just as easy to make him cry. Since he feels like he's on eggshells around people sometimes, always afraid of rejection, he can take things too much to heart. Even when it isn't the case he sees thing much differently than they are meant to come across. However, he is not only emotionally vulnerable about things said or done toward him, he is also vulnerable to other's feelings. This makes him a good shoulder to cry on.
As mentioned before, friends are his main priority right under his job because he relies on how others feel about him in order to feel valid. This is why he is so quick to agree with others on their opinions. He needs others around him in order to follow their lead and fell like he has some kind of direction.
Without others around, he feels weak and alone. Although, even with them around he can feel small and insufficient to their standards, regardless if that is the case or not. It makes him anxious to feel that someone does not like him or disapproves of him. Most times he is unsure about how he looks at what he does, to a point where even something he says can feel wrong.

HISTORY

In his younger years, he lived closely with hybrids which is how he met his childhood friend who had a very big influence on him despite their contrasting personalities. Soren was always a charming and witty boy, easy to make friends, he could hardly stand to be without the attention and love of others. It was through this friend, however, he grew a love for hybrids and wanting to be one himself, his friend was the same only with wanting to be human. They often played pretend as if they had switched places. One day Soren had to move away due to his parents leaving their small vineyard for a bigger business opportunity. Unfortunately, this resulted in him and his friend losing contact after some years. Although he missed their old home, he happily continued to work with his parents.

Going from the small countryside to a more populated area taught Soren to change himself for others, of course, this wasn't anything that was forced on him but rather a skill he taught himself for his own image. Because of the life he left behind and the ideals he brought with him from childhood he was never satisfied with who he saw in the mirror. In turn, he pushed himself to be something everyone liked even if that something was many different things.

Even so, he kept his own desire of who he wanted to be close to heart. One day he chose to express this to his parents by openly wearing handmade stuffed ears and a tail in public. His mother and father were not sure how to feel about it, not mad but confused where their son might have found himself to want to make himself look like a hybrid. Others who witnessed, though silent, did not take kindly to this display and even with something he felt so passionately about the reaction left Soren embarrassed that he failed to be what others wanted him to be. From then on he never publicly displayed his love for the nature of hybrids in fear of what others would think.

After the incident, he wouldn't even return to the restaurant to continue working for his parents. After so many years he still missed their old home in the country. So for a few years, he moved back to the countryside to find work. Somewhere deep down he felt he had something he had to prove to his parents and make up for that day, even if they were not at all upset with him. Not long later, he found the letter in the mail pile. It ignited his flame and without a second thought or question, he was on his way to board the next train to toffee town.
