Outside, Raze is cool, easy-going and sociable. He's laid back, one time curt and observant in the sidelines, the center of all the noise and overly dramatic in the next. Expressive, persuasive and open during time outs, this bunny transforms into someone who will work to achieve a goal by whatever means necessary with a systematic and refined style during missions.
Underneath the cool exterior however, mistakes and slow progress irritate him. He wants things to happen, and to make it happen fast. He flares at the littlest things, small details and blunders not many would mind. Yet he represses them, keeping things to himself and continues to act out with a smile while plotting the best way to set the offender ablaze. He takes personal offenses to heart, nursing grudges for years until forgiven- or dead. An ultimatum. He likes that about fire, the way they consume everything, hot and angry yet somehow managing to look tantalizing in the process, only leaving black ashes in it’s wake.
More mature than his flamboyant style of dressing suggests, his motives are often deeper than what he projects. Though as far as relationships go, he finds it easier to keep being unbound, like wildfire, unless someone could keep up.

tl;dr Normal rich kid who wanted to take a break from normal rich kid life. Went to Pearson Island because of the rumored rabbit people- that was definitely not normal. Bought a hopper as a tour guide for a day. Raze didn't like how the bunny acted as if the oppression was a normal thing. He slapped the bunny and told him to stop acting. They became good friends. The bunny stole from him. Raze called the police and cornered the thief in an old wooden shack. The bunny thief was desperate, frightened- and bit Raze, toppling over a kerosene lamp that set the shack up in flames. Raze landed in a hospital; infected through a blood pack that failed to undergo the hospital's usual check up. His family cut him off, sent him to live on the streets where he experienced the cruelty and discrimination first-hand and saw why the rabbits had to act that way. It was from the streets where he learned about BJBB, those rabbits fighting against the humans, refusing to take the discrimination because they were not normal..

He used to be normal. “Used to be”. Raze was born into your normal everyday rich human family. Nice kid, good manners, good connections. He had a lavish lifestyle, parties, strict upbringing and all the trimmings of what society expects him to be. Though good and all, as a teenager, Raze wanted something different. He wanted to try everything, do anything. And he did, with his childish dreams and parent’s money to back him up.

Under the guise of ‘learning more about world culture’, he traveled to secluded places, ‘alien landing strips’ and things of those sorts. As expected, the story of Pearson City and rumors of its rabbit-eared residents reached him. And as expected, he immediately embarked on a journey towards the said island.

Everything seemed like the plain old normalcy he was bored with, until he saw a young maid with a pan raised in her hand, angrily scolding a black haired urchin- with rabbit ears. The maid was seething, he could tell that much, her face was red with all the shouting as she raised the pan higher. Something about money? Lost items maybe? The bunny held up his hand in defense, but it seemed like a knee-jerk reaction, like something that was already normal to him. An impulse brought teenage Raze to come running towards the scene, until he was standing breathless before the maid.

“Wait- can- can I buy him? Just for a day. You know, tour guide heh.”

The maid’s brows went high, almost into her hair. Some rich kid buying a hopper for a day? But money was money, and by the end of their meeting, the maid had quite a lot.

The bunny always walked a few steps behind him, head bowed as normal humans walked past, often turning their powdered faces away from him. Another impulse. Slap! A hand mark was imprinted on the bunny’s cheek. The urchin bared his teeth, snarling at the sudden attack. Raze just stood there, regarding him with silver eyes. “Why do you act like that?” he had asked. “Don’t act like that around me.” he had requested. The rabbit was taken aback, surprised, confused and delighted all at once. From then on the urchin was happy to break from the norm, laughing, playing and touring the other even as the set day had passed, often sneaking out of his house chores to visit his nice human friend.
They got along well, merely acting like ‘the human and the hopper slave’ when others eyes were on them. But they were good friends for the most part. Raze noticed little things, like coins sometimes vanishing from his pockets, little trinkets disappearing from rich old ladies, bunny friend with his always frantic moving hands. He didn't mind those though, petty theft never really hurt fat pockets.

That’s why it took him by surprise. To see his petty thief bunny friend arms full with his valuables, running full speed away. He was taken aback, surprised, confused and angered all at once. He called the local police- which surprisingly jumped at his call, immediately tracking down and cornering the thief.
The bunny was cornered, found inside an old wooden shack. Body tense and pupils dilated into slits, he snarled at the policemen, and the person who treated him as a friend. Raze broke into the circle, grasping for some reason his ‘friend’ had done this, something to hold on to. Instead the urchin lashed out, biting his outstretched arm and toppling over a small kerosene lamp.
Within minutes the whole ramshackle house was ablaze, fire eating swiftly at the old timber. The police ran out, but the hurt stayed in. Raze clutching his bleeding hand as he stared at the monster that was his friend, whose nails dug into the soil and it gasped for air. A burning beam fell between them, the tips of the rabbit’s ears catching fire. That was enough, he ran out, looking back at the burning thing that was his friend. And he didn't care.

Only after the glow of the fire faded away that he collapsed.
He woke up in hospital, the scent of chloroform gave that away. His rapid breathing felt cold on his clammy skin, which was mostly bare underneath the slip of cloth above him. IV fluids dangled above him, the blood pack standing out from the whiteness of the whole room.
He needed the transfusion, his body underwent a hypovolemic shock due to all the burns and excessive perspiration; although it had saved him, it had cursed him too.
The Black Market was overrun with people willing to do anything for money, selling everything, including their own blood and guts. It had come from a bunny, it's ears and tail hidden behind layers of clothing as desperation drove it to 'donate' blood to a middleman, which was later sold off to the hospital at a higher price for being one of the blood types that were harder to come across. It was an emergency, and they had noticed too late. In a few days, the bunny gen had mixed in with his blood, showing itself through painful mutations.

That was when he actively sought out this rabbit haven, this BJBB. To join the fight, to stop the mistreatment. He followed one of the members [ Ruben ] stealthily as he returned from a mission, finally getting into BJBB after years of searching for a lead. Raze kept a small mirror on his ring, his reflection reminded him of what had happened, who he was now and his difference- from those normal humans.
