After dieing he was sentenced by The dimensional ward(OC to come ? not Comet Chaser who is Guardian of the Veil) of Mirror Equestria to soul collecting for his deeds unable to move on to the next world until has helped the lost souls for 10000 years. Doctor Death often instead shirks his duty by charming his mellow superior(who basically serves as his ethereal parole officer) Comet Chaser Guardian of the Veil with stories and dancing. Anything to get out of his work and its just a plus that Comet Chaser feels exponentially happier. As of late he is not sure if there is some feelings to Comet Chaser as he only pretended to have feelings to his special some pony in his life.

Extras-

The world. If I wasn't clear in the picture this is a mirror world of Equestria. Mirror is an AU of mine where the whole world is built on the Elements of War that later broke into the Elements of Harmony. The idea being that War created the Harmony in which Equestria now lives. The reason I created this world was because I in good conscious with my twisted logic could not let a happy world exist with out a dark side; albeit a AU. The reason Luna and Celestia are treated as Gods they were the only Alicorns known to the public, left from the war against Discord and the Massacre of the Alicorn Race. I say known as different O.C. of mine, who in this world is the librarian wrote the mirror book of Nightmare Moon originally as a history text book explaining the sacrifices made to bring Equestria to peace. But Celestia after banishing Luna to the moon tore out the pages of the book saying that it was not necessary for the future ponies to know the blood and bones that their peace stands on.

Needless to say this is a very dark world and my lovely Dr. Death is a charismatic insane soul collector who finds solace in not doing his job and instead talking to the Guardian of the Veil who should be telling him to get on with his punishment but is too happy for the company of someone who is not concerned about their death(basically she doesn't have to console him he just makes the best of his situation and charms her enjoying the fact she isn't bothered by his past((*cough* because she did something worse*cough*)) and keeps him somewhat at bay allowing him a challenge).

His hobby is being a doctor his special talent is dissection and then being so damn good at lying and pretending to care about the ponies he dissects getting away with his sick tendencies. Doctor Death's screwed up moral compass is more because no one stopped him because they thought he could do no wrong since he could talk so sweetly and look so apologetic. So sadly his natural skill and girlish looks that more easily drop peoples gaurds is charisma which allows him to get away with everything.

Part of his insanity is because of his name. He was given his name because his father was a doctor and his mother died at birth. Doctor Death being a constant reminder of his lack of one parent and the constant pressure to become a successful doctor like his father.

At the moment hes supposed to paying off his debt to the world collecting lost pony souls. But since he can't dissect anything he finds more pleasure talking to Comet Chaser and entertaining her since they have paying penance to the world of Equestria in common.

And yes the hoof writing was a jab at the handwriting stereotype of doctors and is the one main thing that doesn't fit his stylish elegant personality.
