FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!! ahh!!
This piece is submitted for the Danse Macabre contest and are holding!! ^--^It's a pencil work of Richard and Methice (the sleeping one). =__= i am ... quite happy wif the pencil stuff coz i spent so much time sketching in the details of their hair and eyes... *--* i adore hyula-san's drawing style!! It's so pretty~~ Oh, and i tried to do this by referring to her sketches and also Alichino artist, Kouyu Shurei's works too. ^-^;;;; I believe both mesiaste-san and hyula-san's charas look best in either of their styles ne, so i tried my best to mimick hyula's style..
uh.. i didn't know which category to put this one in.. i wanted to put it under traditional coz the time spent pencilling was way longer than the tweaking i did on photoshop... o_O?
I guess i kinda ruined the pencil work wif my baaad photoshop lighting skills.. *kills self* why kill self? coz i pencilled till my right hand ached.. T__T let's hope i have a better idea for the bg before the contest deadline.. >_<

Wow! aki this picture is really really cool! I totally awsomely love the girl's hair it is just, teh WOW! I also like the vertical bars on the side it sort of picture frames it you know? The shading is so superb it's unbelievable I really like the outfits, they made upby you or from somewhere? the color tones of the magenta I love! the bg is fine the way it is, you'll blow away the competition

Good god o.o I could never do that style of hair. All the lines would kill me! Even if I was in my prime. But, you make it look almost easy!
I really love this pic. Especially the soft, warm colors. They make it look so very peaceful, and yet, I get a sense of tragedy from it. Maybe it's just how the lighter color fades into the darker one. Or maybe, it is that AND the expression on Richard's face...

Everything looks perfect except for Methice's hand...I think you should work on it more. I don't know what's wrong, it just doesn't look right. Maybe it's the shadow/light hmm or even the size. I like the eyes and hair on both. Hope you win

it's so pretty! i think the lighting's fine, though perhaps some darker shading? light that bright would create deeper shadows i think O.o but it's lovely as always just the same
