I'm very behind on my phoenix mini calendar project. I had an artist block with phoenixes for a good couple of months so I've been occupying myself with other arts. I'll just carry it over to next year
This phoenix of june is the watery blue ocean phoenix. It can blend into the waves of the ocean and can swim just as well beneath the waves as above it. Where ever it goes, the waves are sure to follow.
I used bright colors in this one because June reminded me of those hot, bright and cloudless days where all you want to do is go to the beach and relax in the cool ocean. And usually school is out by then.

Hello!! Β This is so beautiful! Β It hit me in a way that it is hard to explain. In December of 2011 my My Mother in Law passed away, 6 months later, In June of 2012 my dog and babyboy, the little love of my life was killed by other dogs, 11 days later, on June 21, I woke to find my husband had passed away. Β 6 months later, Β on December 12, my mother passed away. Β See my world did end in 2012. Β I have worked very hard to rebuild my life. Β I am starting a new podcast to talk about my journey. Β I would love to use this as my Cover Art, and my profile pix for all of the accounts that go along with it. Β May I use it? Β I would love to keep the watermark.

That looks really awesome, you coloured it really nicely, and i like how it looks like it's apart of the water. I also like how you did the head and beak, and those wings look great too ^^

A time ago I need to draw "real" looking art stuff...but it wonΒ΄t work
