Description
A few things to explain about this sketch:

1. This is DeeDee (on the left) and Bubbles (on the right) from Dexter's Lab and PPG. It's part of an alternate version of PPGD that I made in my head.

2. They are supposed to be in similar outfits as those of Luchia and Hanon from Mermaid Melody.

3. "Watashi dake wo chanto mitsumetete" is a line from Hanon's song, "Aquamarine Melody" ("Mizuiro no Senritsu"). The line is Japanese for: "Just keep looking directly at me."

4. Here's what's supposed to be happening:
Dexter has been captured this time and the PPGs have to go save him from a mysterious entity who has set up a series of challenges that each PPG must complete to save Dex. Bubbles' challenge is that, to expel poisonous sludge that will kill Dex if it grows too much, Bubbles must focus her sonic scream into a sonic singing voice that will destroy the sludge. The costume thing just happens on its own.
Anyway, while Bubbles is singing to save Dex (who has come to be like a big brother to her), a strange glowing pink silhouette separates from her, and sings a harmony with her melody. Slowly, the glowing dies down to reveal DeeDee's spirit, who has been residing in Bubbles' heart all along. As the girls and Dex watch, DeeDee and Bubbles sing together to expel the sludge at an amazing pace. Then, just as the song ends, DeeDee gives Dexter a hug and returns into Bubbles' heart. Then Bubbles turns back to normal and they can move on to Blossom's challenge.

5. The line that they're singing is not self-centered; it's an inspirational song. The rest of the lyrics reveal that, but I won't post them here for space's sake.
