My first stamp.Please note, this is just my opinion. I don't care if you support incest pairings. I am not trying to start an argument. Please respect my opinion.
In my view, whether characters are related by blood or marriage, it's still incest.
Incest is wrong whether in fandoms or in real life. THAT IS JUST MY OPINION. I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE IT DON'T TELL ME.
IF YOU WANNA FUCK YOUR RELATIVE GO RIGHT AHEAD. Just leave me out of it. >_<

Why do you say incest is sick and disgusting? How is that any different than saying interracial or homosexual relationships are sick and disgusting?

Because at least (most of the time) interracial and homosexual relationships are 2 people from different families getting together. Even if they're step-(insert title here), to me it's still incest because they have family labels. Family love and relationship love are two different things and should not be mixed together.

*sigh* Considering the time period in which that was practiced, the people who lived during that time didn't think so. I, on the other hand, do think it was sick and wrong because I didn't live back then. Most likely it was stopped because of the health problems that occurs with inbreeding such as low self-esteem, difficulties in interpersonal relationships, and sexual dysfunction, and the extremely high risk of many mental disorders including depression, anxiety, phobic avoidance reactions, somatoform disorder, substance abuse, borderline personality disorder, and complex post-traumatic stress disorder.
Now, kindly accept my opinion and move on. Please don't argue with me.

I was talking about the illegality of interracial marriage, not the legality of inbreeding [which is still legal, you just can't marry]. Once again, thjis is about incest, not inbreeding.

Completely agree with you there. Nothing is wrong with it. Who are we to deny someone the right to love another person? Last time I checked, my (or anyone else for that matter) title wasn't God. Leave people to their own devices. It's not personally or indirectly effecting you so leave them alone.
