You and Mituna were close before his accident, that was for sure. Closer than the boy was with Cronus. You were almost considered his pale quadrant, not that the two of you hadn't discussed it at all. It came up quite a bit, in all honesty. You, however, weren't too fond of the pale-zone; especially when you started to notice a bit of a flush was there. As of Mituna's 'accident' however, or, whatever you'd be inclined to call it, you were more or less his caregiver. You seemed to be almost a second lusus to him, not mentioning that Latula babied him somewhat as well. Latula. That name seemed to replay over and over in your head. She wasn't one of your closest friends, simply someone whom you'd get along with or agree on pressing matters such as caring for the yellow blood. She was comic relief for you, more or less. (Lets not forget to mention the time you were stumbling over your words and she helped out.)

Regardless, you were happy for both her and 'Tuna. They seemed to keep each other in check, well, for the most part. Lately they had been drifting apart little by little and even you could notice it. Sure, you wanted to know what was going on, but risk asking the boy? No. You couldn't do that. Biting your tongue, you decided to keep your mouth shut for as long as you could. Luckily, (not that you would say that your little Mituna coming back to your hive a sobbing mess for the past week was lucky), you didn't have to wait all that long in actuality. He missed her, obviously. "Hey My-tuna?" You called, using that silly little way you could call him yours.

"Yeth ___?"

You laid on the bed with him, gently running your fingers through his long raven locks that seemed to fall curl upon curl. His hair was almost seemingly endless. It, of course, wasn't as long as Kurloz's, but you digress. "Are you hungry?" Obviously he was by the way his stomach made that little grumble.

"Hmph... no.... I mean-- uh... yeth... uh... GAAAH--!" He was becoming a bit frustrated, as you then chuckled, gently pinching his cheek.

You then reached down and tickled what little stomach he had, making him giggle. His stomach could always make him laugh when you touched it, just a little thing about him. "No!!! Pleathe thhhtop!" He pleaded in between his snorts and lisps. Wow his giggles were cute. "___!! I GIVE UP JUTHT.. JUTHT PLEATHE THTOP TICKLING ME!!!" The boy flailed, his mouth wide in a grin with each individual white tooth sparkling in the light that shone through your window. You hardly would have known these last few days he had spent crying, other than the yellow stains on his freckle covered cheeks.

Continuing to tickle him against your better judgement, he fell from the bed, hitting his head slightly. (It was only enough to give him a slight bump, luckily. There, now you can use that word.) "AWW THIT I FELL DFJSHDFKSDHFJADKA!"

You went wide-eyed, a feeling of guilt in your stomach as he flailed, starting to throw a tantrum. "Mituna, it's alright!" Quickly kneeling next to him, you grabbed his arms and pulled him into a hug. "Shhh..."

"Oh! Hi ___! When did you get here?" Classic Mituna.

You kissed the top of his head lovingly where he fell, "Hey 'Tuna! I've been here, but come on. I'll put your helmet on and we can fix you something to eat, alright?"

The boy nodded, letting you place it on his head and help him down the stairs into the kitchen where you motioned for him to sit in a nearby chair as you grabbed bread. "Hey ___?"

"Yes?" You ran a hand through your hair, then started making his usual sandwich. Cutting it into a perfect diamond, you hummed, placing the plate in front of him as you then went to get him something to drink.

"Why do you cut thethe thandwicheth like diamondth?"

"Well..." You thought for a second, then giggled. "I suppose it's because out of every quadrant you and I are pale. Although, diamonds are easy to cut and you don't like the crust, so why not? Even though you have Kurloz I still feel pale for you and... I mean, I don't feel completely pale for you... I just-- forget it. It's just easiest to cut, I guess..."

You were rambling again. Who were you? Kankri? Clearing your throat in worry, you furrowed your eyebrows and sat in front of him after handing him some juice. Your stomach growled quietly, making you remember you forgot to make yourself anything. "You're hungry?"

Glancing up at him through your long, dark eyelashes, you gave a soft chortle. "A bit!"

"I can make you a thandwich!!! Pleathe??? I can do it thith time!" His determination was strong as he finished his own, then stood. "I got thith!"

"Alright, but I'll be over here--"

"DON'T LOOK!"

"Hmmm? Okay 'Tuna!"

You could hear him shuffling about, working like a busy bee. Every now and again you could hear him getting more and more frustrated with him dragging out his lisps or cursing under his breath. Sitting where you were, trying not to look, he started approaching you, making you glance over your shoulder. "I THAID DON'T LOOK!! GAHSDFJSDKSDFJ!"

"I'm sorry! I'm not! I didn't see anything!" Closing your eyes, you waited until he told you that you were allowed to. No way were you wanting him to get upset again.

Staring down at the plate, you noticed a little heart shaped sandwich. Well, more or less. He really did try. It was cut out a bit odd, the bread having spots of honey on it here and there, but oh, did he try. "This is wonderful Mituna, I love it!"

"I made it a heart! Cauthe you are nithe to me and and and.." He huffed a bit, almost not knowing how to word his sentence. "Fluthed for you ___!"

Your cheeks burned as you let out a relieved breath, almost not knowing what was going on. It was almost surreal. Was he actually saying what he was? "I'm flushed for you too, My-Tuna."

"My.. um... uhhh... My-___!"

"Yes!" Your laughter being cut off by his lips on yours.

He seemed to be a bit inexperienced but it wasn't anything you couldn't help. His scent was intoxicating as he was this close to you, making you never want this to end. His lips were soft and cold against yours; better than you had ever imagined them to be. Pulling away, he bit the inside of his cheek, hoping that he was doing an okay job. Gently reaching up to pull his helmet off and place it on the table, you pulled him in for another sweet kiss. Slowly leaving the contact, you glanced away, grinning like an idiot. "Doeth thith mean you'll cut my thandwicheth like that everyday and maybe we can alwayth have dayth ath good ath thith?"

"Of course."
