Anyway... My favorite character from Kuroshitsuji, besides Ciel and Sebastian of course, is Undertaker and ever since I saw his face I've been obsessed with drawing it. So attractive

It's not that hard and lots of fun as long as you don't mind tediousness. I don't think I did that well so hopefully you have better luck than I did ^^

Eh, I've tried woodcuts but I don't have that much patience... I can sit down a few hours and finish something, but I don't like coming back to something after leaving it sitting for a day or two.

I have that same problem, usually I'm not motivated enough to finish something after I stop it but I sat for a good few hours and finished this because I didn't want to stop. Thank you though

Yeah, I don't really know anyone who likes to leave a project sitting and come back to it later. Like, most of the time when I'm doing an art project(If you can call it that, I mostly just draw) I'm listening to the same song over and over, and it's like if I come back the next day I have to listen to that song again to be able to finish up what I started.

True, neither do I. And yes I call that an art project because that's all I do too ^^ That's funny because I'm the same way, I always listen to a song on repeat while drawing and as long as I keep listening to that same song I can finish.

I've learned recently that a lot of artists listen to the same song over and over while on a project... I wonder if there's some type of psychology behind that?

There probably is, it would make sense. Personally I think it just puts you in a sort of trance and you can concentrate better. That's my guess at least ^^
It really is, it makes me smile while I'm working, although I have been known to just start randomly rocking out to it when I put it loud enough.

Haha, yeah I guess it does put you into a trance. It's pretty interesting to see how different songs effect the outcome of an artwork. I realize the works that I listen to the same song all have a similar 'feeling to them'.

I've noticed that too. When I'm listening to something sad or dark the artwork turns out the same way. It's kind of strange, but I've started using that to my advantage ^^
